
About Jimmy Moley, MD
Jimmy Moley, MD is a psychiatrist specializing in mental health care of adults and athletes in Ohio. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He furthered his specialty training by completing the adult psychiatry residency at The Ohio State University and is a board certified psychiatrist through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. His subspecialty training includes the Certificate of Additional Training through the International Society for Sports Psychiatry, and he is certified in sports and performance psychiatry by the American Board of Sports and Performance Psychiatry.
Dr. Moley’s clinical and research interests include the specialized psychiatric care of athletes and high performers, the neuropsychiatric management of head injuries, and the integration of somatic illness with psychiatric care. He is a published scientific author and has been featured as a recognized speaker at numerous conferences and events. His organizational work includes service as a psychiatric consultant for various organizations, teams, and leagues, and his educational work focuses on expanding understanding of mental health and expanding access to professional treatment.
